More than two million elderly people in Uganda have no facilities such as; Food, water and sanitation, healthy support and have lost loved ones to war and conflict, and diseases such as HIV and AIDS, diabetes, hypertension and others.
This proposal brings together the main concerns facing many elderly people in rural / urban areas in Uganda and witnessed empirically.

Hope For Change Africa (HFCA), is ready to partner with government agencies, international organizations and programs to have a major impact on the lives of poor elderly people suffering from extreme chronic poverty and lack of welfare services in Uganda.
Ways of interventions; In the focus group discussion and observation so far in the eastern region; has revealed much and the following ways have been identified as necessary to support the elderly in Uganda:
