A total of 78 teenage girls and their mothers who received their share of pads at the launch of ‘hope charity pads campaign’ narrated various touching accounts in form of challenges they have been going through for not being able to afford them
The campaign had targeted only girls but mothers too cried to our team for same help since they could not afford them too.
Most of the visibly excited beneficiaries confessed before hope for change Africa members and the chief guest, the Iganga district resident commissioner, Eve kwesiga at Kasolo village as the donation being timely have been using uncomfortable clothes during their periods helplessly which puts their health at risk
Kwesiga hailed Hope members for the “wise wisdom” in encountering the situation which govt had earlier promised to help but failed to fulfill
She promised support and asked to be part of our charity as a patron having been impressed by our generous agenda
